We are looking for a highly versatile, professional, self-motivated and driven individual, who will be work as part of a small customer service team helping to support the smooth running of our Birmingham site.

**The Company**:
Johnsons Hotel Linen, which specialises in supplying the corporate 4-star market and the budget hotel sector is seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Customer Service Administrator in a busy and challenging environment. This is very much a hands-on role, in which you will provide vital support to the business and contribute with the smooth running of the organisation in a small team.

**The role will involve**:

- keying in customer requirements for deliveries
- Arranging transportation of any necessary emergency deliveries
- Assisting with visitors
- Ensuring delivery paperwork is in place where appropriate
- Outbound calling to customers
- Resolving customer queries
- Logging all customer contact
- Ensure that there is excellent communication with the external service team
- Keeping accurate records for customer requests and responding to queries in a timely manner
- Develop comprehensive knowledge on the customer service system and the portal providing both colleagues and customers with advice and support
- Adhere to strictest confidentiality standards with regards all company financial and salary matters
- Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts
- Ensure that you fully comply with the relevant Health and Safety legislation
- Ensure your workspace is clean and tidy at all times and equipment is maintained, in good working order
- to attend training courses as required
- to foster and maintain good working relations throughout the company
- There is a requirement to provide holiday cover on Saturdays and on an ad hoc basis (lieu days will be given)

You must enjoy working as part of a team and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills gained within a customer service environment. Good numeracy and excel skills are a must for this role as are IT literacy in Word and Excel and an aptitude for learning new IT systems.

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
