The Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust is responsible for nine schools across Hull; two secondary and seven primary schools. Oldfleet Primary School is in east Hull and part of Thrive Trust. We are a two form entry primary school, with pupils aged 3 to 11 years.

From September 2023 we are introducing two new roles at Oldfleet Primary School. Learning Associates and Lead Learning Associates will provide highly effective support for the children at Oldfleet Primary School, enabling them to thrive in all aspects of their development and learning.

They will establish positive relationships with children, ensuring they feel safe, valued and happy.

The Learning Associate team will have a high expectation of the children and themselves, as highly valued members of the whole school team.

As a Lead Learning Associate you will receive:

- A competitive salary (Grade 6)
- A comprehensive CPD package delivered through a bi weekly programme
- 35.5 hours a week term time plus 5 CPD days
- A clear and comprehensive job description
- A lead role within a Key Stage and an aspect of the school day, examples of these are below and ensure we have Lead learning Associates supporting key parts of the day too.
- EYFS (8am - 3:30pm) 30 mins lunch
- Lunchtime (8am - 3:30pm) 30 mins lunch
- Breakfast Club (7:30 - 3:15pm) 45mins lunch
- KS2 Y6 Intervention (8:00 - 3:30pm) 30 mins lunch
