An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Quality Governance Department at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for a Continuous Quality Improvement Lead.

We are looking for a an enthusiastic and motivated individual with Quality Improvement experience who will be able to take responsibility for the delivery of compliance and effectiveness improvement work, provide QI training to staff and support the learning and improving journey of the organisation. The individual must ensure the values of the Trust; care, honesty and accountability are at the heart of their commitment to this role.

The role of Continuous Quality Improvement Lead will support the Team to implement agreed Quality Improvement work and achieve with measurable results.

They will facilitate and support the delivery of improvement work related to compliance and effectiveness work streams whilst also helping to embed a culture of shared learning, collaborative working and continuous improvement across the Trust, utilising QI methodologies and evidence based approach. Working across the organisation, the role supports the compliance and effectiveness functions of our Health Groups by identifying lessons to be learned and making recommendations accordingly.

**HUTH has two main sites**: Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £500 million. The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area.

The Trust’s secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services. These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
