**Coatings Inspectors (Quality)**

Location: Hull

**Coatings Inspector (Quality)**:
To join our Major Projects team as a coating inspector to deliver a complex pipework project, and promote the adoption and culture of best practices, which delivers positive commitment to quality and engages all employees in continuous improvement.

**As a Specialist Coating Inspector your knowledge, experience and duties will cover the following**:

- To be familiar with the scope of work and contract specification and national/international standards
- Performing witnessing as required by inspection and test plans to meet the client’s program demands and working to project deadlines and targets.
- Recording results for inspections undertaken, highlighting any non-conformance and accepting or rejecting finished as required.
- Liaison with Quality lead to ensure appropriate levels of surveillance are deployed and support the relevant surveillance plans,
- Work alongside the fabrication teams to ensure all contracted requirements are met.
- Review Quality records for accuracy and adequacy of content to allow the complication of lifetime records.
- Perform inspections at our sub-contractors facilities and complete checklists and weekly reports.
- Support the Non-conformance management as required for identification, disposition and closure if corrective and preventive actions
- To carry out any other inspections as quested by the Quality Manager

- Production of written instructions
- Interpretation of normal documents
- Control and testing of blasting abrasives
- Contamination testing
- Paint formulation
- Coating systems
