If you have experience within a Finance Assistant and/or Credit Control role and are looking for an opportunity to work for an ambitious and growing organisation, this could be the role for you.

**The role**

As a Credit Controller, you will work within a busy Finance team, reporting into the Credit Control Team Leader. The primary purpose of this role is to successfully collect and process payments for all our customers in an efficient and timely manner. Youwill play a key role in the business, assisting our customers with any queries they may have, ensuring an effective resolution and outcome is achieved.

**Your responsibilities as a Credit Controller will be**:

- To successfully resolve queries raised by customers effectively and within a timely manner
- Liaise with the various sales teams to resolve any issues and queries regarding invoicing and account set up
- Liaise with the Cash Team to provide missing allocation details
- Work closely with the Sales Ledger Team to update any relevant account changes
- Create monthly reports to the sales teams on the payment status of their customer accounts
- Successfully process credit card and purchasing card payments
- Monitor and place accounts on and/or off credit stop as and when required
- Process any bad debts in accordance with our procedure
- Regularly attend implementation meetings for new customers to ensure the correct account set up processes is adhered to

**About you**
- You will demonstrate previous experience within a Credit Control and/or Finance Assistant position
- You will have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent), including Math’s & English
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proficiency with all Microsoft packages is a key skill required within this role; namely Excel
- You will be a self-motivated individual that thrives in an environment where independent and team work is required
- You will have a pro-active attitude towards work with excellent attention to detail
