About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our Revenue Management team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an effective and professional credit control system, reducing risk to the business, and ensuring excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in achieving monthly cash collection targets
- Liaise directly with clients to chase outstanding and overdue balances
- Ensure accurate records are kept of all conversations and communications with clients
- Produce monthly statements and letters
- Liaise with departments to ensure they are informed of progress on payments
- Assist in the suspending of bills procedure where instructed and appropriate
- Assist in the management of instalment payments, checking they are received as agreed and chasing when instalments are missed
- Assist in the process of how debts are passed to Debt Recovery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience using Excel, ideally at an intermediate level
- Proficiency using Outlook
- Previous Customer Service or administration experience
- Confident communication skills
- Customer-focused
- Calm and solution-driven
- Training will be provided
