Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual looking to kick-start your career in finance? We are seeking an Apprentice Credit Controller to join our dynamic team at Hooray, a leading national business in the renewable energy sector.
About the Role:As an Apprentice Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payment of debt and resolving any issues that may arise. You will work closely with our finance team to maintain accurate records, allocate incoming invoices, and communicate effectively with customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with customers to chase overdue payments and resolve invoice and payment queries
- Allocate incoming invoices to customer portals and maintain accurate records
- Request credit notes as required and agree with relevant management
- Prepare aged debt reports and collaborate with the wider team
- Previous experience working within credit control or a related field
- Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
