Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre at Appleby Magna in Leicestershire. The operation will be housed at Jaguar Land Rover’s new 2.94m square foot Mercia campus, oneof the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer. With a multimillion-pound major facility investment program already underway, we would like you to join us now to be part of the core team. This is a great opportunity to be a major part of thesuccessful implementation of what is said to be the largest automotive logistics project in the UK.
Working within a fast paced warehousing and distribution environment, you will be required to support day to day administration and analysis activities. We have administration roles in a number of areas - including planning, freight, goods in / out, packaging,and reporting - and would be keen to hear from you if you’re an experienced administrator who would be comfortable working in safety boots and a Hi-Viz vest, rather than in an office-based environment
For all of these roles you will need strong Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s)
**Your responsibilities will vary depending upon the team that you join, however there will some common activities that include**:

- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) for activities and highlighting where these are not in line with current practices
- Identifying, using Root Cause Analysis, any process failure issues and report and remedy using our continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Providing administrative support to your manager and colleagues as appropriate
- Collating and analysing data
- Delivering concise and accurate information to operational management and the wider operation

**About You**:

- Good communication skills - spoken and written - confident with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
- Good IT skills - particularly Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s)
- Logical thinker with skills in understanding and interpreting data
- Commitment to self-development
- An understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service and understanding customer requirements
- Ability to deliver high quality administrative expertise
- Strong organisation skills with ability to cope with the demands of a fast-moving and ever-changing set of priorities
- Self-motivated, proactive and flexible; proven track record of quality results delivery to deadlines
