Salary - £34,000 - £36,000 per annum depending on experience plus Company Car

As a Technical Trainer, you’ll be at the heart of our busy home delivery and in-home repairs operation which covers the whole of the UK and has three technical training academies based at sites in Bristol, Bolton, and Tilbury and you'll deliver enthusiastic hands-on training to new and existing teams. You’ll welcome our new starters and train our existing colleagues - giving them the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to deliver, install and/or repair large domestic appliances in our customers’ homes and help our customers enjoy amazing technology. You’ll be flexible in your approach and work with other field trainers to deliver learning solutions such as Driver CPC, manual handling, first aid and fire Marshall.
This is a field-based role, and you’ll be based at our Training Academies across the country and be expected to travel across our network to support training delivery and development projects as and when required.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivery of our core induction, compliance and technical training for new colleagues starting their journey within our home delivery and in-home repairs network
- Delivery of ongoing training on the installation, service and repair of large domestic appliances and supporting services, motivating colleagues to share amazing technology with our customers
- Working with the training manager to scope training needs, design and deliver training solutions, review and continuously improve training across the operations aligned to our key business priorities
- Liaising with our sites and management teams to plan, organise and co-ordinate training sessions to support the operation on an ongoing basis
- Supporting other training solutions within the training area
You will need:
- Experience in technical training (similar field preferable)
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver training in multiple formats (face-to-face/virtual classrooms)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage with colleagues in a coaching/training environment
- Computer literacy skills with experience using MS Office packages, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Flexible approach and ability to manage own workload
- A full valid UK driving licence
- A training qualification/certification or willing to work towards would be desirable
