As part of the function's growth, the business requires a full time HR & Office Assistant to come and join the team. The HR & Office Assistant will be a key support to the Head of HR by providing smooth and efficient delivery of HR administration support, aswell as providing support to the business on the general admin front. While administrative in scope, the postholder will have the opportunity to expand on their HR experience and get involved in upcoming projects.
Key areas of responsibility for the role will be:

- Supporting the full recruitment cycle, including advertising, shortlisting, supporting and arranging interviews
- Ensure consistent and accurate upkeep of employee records, as well as working towards the creation of better HR data practices
- HR data tracking and reporting i.e. absence and sickness, holiday, recruitment, leavers etc.
- Onboarding - ensure all documentation and communications are out in a timely manner to new starters, and facilitating new starter inductions
- Contribute to the management of the HR inbox and act as 1st point of contact for HR queries
- Event management for regular business events
- Management of suppliers
- Minute taking
- Contribute to resolution of customer queries where appropriate
- Oversee travel booking and wider administration and facilities tasks
What experience do you need?
Experience in an administrative, office management or secretarial role balancing different priorities and having an interest in working in a high-service environment. You will also need strong organisational and decision-making skills, the ability to self-motivateand express ideas confidently and clearly. You will be a confident and credible communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Some evidence of HR experience or qualification is needed for the position.
