**Administration Assistant**

**SENIT/EMTAS**

37 hours, Term Time Only - Grade D

An opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant within the Special Educational Needs Inclusion Team (SENIT) & Ethnic Minority & Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS). SENIT & EMTAS work across the 0-25 age range within both mainstream and special school settings.

You will be expected to provide an efficient and effective administrative support function to both teams and you should have relevant experience in office administration with 5 GCSEs (A-C or 9-4 passes) including English and Maths or equivalent. It is desirable that you have experience of working in an educational setting or customer care and have a Level 3 NVQ in administration or customer services (or an equivalent qualification).

You will have good interpersonal skills together with effective written and verbal communication skills. It is essential that you must be able to work in an environment requiring confidential handling of information and be able to organise their own work and time effectively to meet deadlines. You should be able to work with accuracy whilst paying attention to detail, be flexible and able to work well as part of a team with a willingness to undertake any further training required.

Whilst initially based at the Dryden Centre it is anticipated that the team will relocate to the Civic Centre in the next few months.
