Are you self-motivated, highly organised, and efficient? Do you have experience of undertaking basic maintenance tasks? If so, you could be our new Facilities Operative.

The role of the Facilities Operative (Day Porter) is to assist in providing a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors to the Playhouse by providing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in both the public areas and backstage, whilst also assisting the Building Operations and Facilities Assistant Manager throughout the day.

Reporting to the Building Operations and Facilities Manager, the Facilities Operative will sometimes work for long periods on their own but will also work alongside a variety of different departments.

This is a permanent contract of 35 hours of paid work worked over five days a week between Monday and Saturday inclusive. Some evening and weekend work may be required. The times at which you carry out your work each week will be determined by the needs of the business.

Pay for this role is £18,965 per year.
