Operations Administrator work behind the scenes to insure all aspects of a tour come together (hotels, Meals, Excursions and coach/bus/train/flight arrangements) in order to successfully run all travel related products.
Typical work activities
- Building and making tour files with elements of hotel bookings, passenger lists, rooming lists and other tour elements.
- Selling travel products and tour packages
- Sourcing restaurants, hotels and transportation
- Sending Rooming and Seating lists accordingly and putting together the file for the tour managers/representatives
- Contracting flights and maintaining the internal booking system
- Managing, booking and cancelling services for all travel related products
- Booking and Managing ground transportation and other model
- Working closely with other parts of the business to help answer customer queries
