We are looking for a Patient Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Facilitator to join the Trust's busy and dynamic Patient Experience and Involvement Team.

You should have a track record of delivering a high-quality service to improve the experience of the care and services for patients and service users.

The main purpose of this post is to support the Trust’s EDI objectives and priorities for patients and carers, ensuring that the views of under-represented groups are included in decision making processes and practices.

You will have strong planning, organisation, and administration skills. You will be a confident and impactful communicator and be able to demonstrate that can prioritise your work to deliver against objectives.

Reporting to Patient EDI Lead, this position is a key member of the team supporting the delivery of the patient EDI agenda.

The post holder will support activities involving the engagement of patients, carers, and stakeholder groups including providing administrative support for committees and meetings, coordination of the Trust Equality Delivery System workshops relating to patient and providing support for the Trust’s interpreting service.

The Patient EDI Facilitator will be a member of the Patient Experience and Involvement team, reporting to the Patient EDI Lead to support the delivery of patient equality and diversity activities across the Trust.

The role works across the Trust so the successful applicant will be required regularly to travel to our different sites.
