Main duties of the job

The role is to consistently drive excellent clinical quality standards by providing visible clinical leadership to the team and support them in the delivery of high quality, effective and evidence based care. Focus will be on patient experience, patient safety and providing assurance that standards are met for every patient, every time.

Therefore, the candidate must be committed to the on-going development of the ward and multi disciplinary team working, and have the drive and passion to create an inspirational learning and working environment.

This role requires you to be assertive, flexible, resilient, forward thinking and ready to develop your leadership skills in an acute setting. You will be required to take charge in challenging circumstances and support junior colleagues at all times.
