Alcester Home Care is looking for special carer's to help families take care of the ones they love. **Job Overview**

We are looking for Live in Carer to support a 71-year-old lady living in Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5**.

Current health conditions:
Stroke - left side weakness/paralysed & short term memory loss.

Driver preferred but not essential.

1 week on / 1 week off, Wednesday to Wednesday

£875 per week (food allowance included)

Must be enrolled on the DBS update service.

**Available to start at 15th May 2024**

As a live-in carer, you will:
Support our customers in a variety of ways depending on their level of needs whilst living in their home. This could include but is not limited to:
Ø Proving companionship

Ø Helping clients with their personal care needs,

Ø Helping with mobility - some customers may need assistance getting around their home or out and about within their community,

Ø Overseeing medication and providing medical support,

Ø Helping clients around their home with domestic chores,

Ø Preparing and cooking meals

Ø Running errands such as food shopping or picking up their medication, taking them to appointments.

If you would like to join us as a live-in carer you will need to have:
Ø The right to work in the UK,

Ø A friendly, caring, and supportive nature,

Ø Excellent communication skills,

Ø Willingness to help others,

Ø Excellent level of English, both written and spoken.

Ø Access to own transport.
