25hrs p/w - 2:30pm - 7:30pm
My Client is looking for a Operations / Customer Service Administrator working for a busy Food Distribution Company - Immediate Start - Training Provided
**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**:
- Handle customer calls in a professional, polite and empathetic manner
- Negotiate solutions to complex delivery issues to meet both customers and Brake needs
- Take ownership of a select group of high-profile customers & oversee all their issues - Be main site contact.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure corrective action is taken on delivery issues and follow up to ensure delivery
- Identify and present the need for new or improved customer service and operational process solutions
- To work effectively with other individuals and teams to achieve company objectives and share best practice
- Book in and de-brief drivers on a daily basis recording figures for the weekly distribution analysis.
- Cash handling and security and safety procedures.
- Accurately record and store information
- Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues
- Verification of documents, checking numerical accuracy, and maintaining accurate complete and legible records.
- Investigation of discrepancies.
- Responsible for dealing with customer collections.
- Control and monitoring of cancelled and returned orders.
- Maintenance of customer accounts records and reconcile/verify all cash/cheque payments.
- Maintenance and input of information onto SAP

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:
Desirable:
- No formal experience required, however exposure to busy transport department & customer service preferred
- Have a lively and confident manner and possess a sense of humour
**Essential**:
- High standard of written and oral communication skills
- Elementary level of education only able to demonstrate basic numeracy & literacy
- PC Literate & Administrative Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation, decision making and assertiveness skills
- Ability to organise and manage time effectively
- Excellent team player
- General aptitude for basic clerical work as well as attention to detail
- Ability to cope under pressure to meet the demands of a busy functional workload
