Reprographics Operator

**Salary**: £29,750 per annum plus 15% shift allowance (£34,212.50 total)

Location: 5 Broadgate, London, EC2M 2QS

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Work model: Onsite

Shifts: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday, 07:00 - 15:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 rotating shifts with some flexibility required

Purpose of role

The Operator is responsible for delivering a first-class experience to our clients within the reprographics facilities.

The role-holder is responsible for the accurate completion of all tasks, delivered within the agreed service levels agreements. This is a hands-on role supports the Team Leader in managing the management workflow.

Key responsibilities
- To produce high quality documents to client specifications using high speed reprographic and finishing equipment.
- Monitoring/replenishing consumables for printers, calibrating machines
- Reporting issues as per procedure and escalating issues to Team leader
- Scanning of hard copy mail/files into PDF format using high speed scanners
- Booking outbound couriers when required after the service desk has closed
- Ensuring work is competed in a timely fashion and of the highest quality
- Full understanding of workflow processes and procedures
- Support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for clients
- Undertake additional duties as requested by management.
- Take responsibility for meeting targets
- Carry out administrative tasks as necessary
- Create and maintain highest levels of customer confidence by providing a flexible and responsive service, exceeding expectations where possible.
- Develop an understanding of the customer’s business and ensure that Williams Lea delivers a service in line with their objectives
- Advising where appropriate on the best method of product and cost saving
- Develop positive and professional relationships with our clients.
- Create and maintain highest levels of client confidence by providing a flexible and responsive service, exceeding expectations where possible.
- Take ownership for problems and ensure customer feedback and complaints are dealt with efficiently, with support from senior management.
- Advising where appropriate on the best method of production
- To ensure all possible deadlines are achieved and managed in accordance with our client’s service level agreement (SLA)
- To assist with incoming Reprographics telephone calls
- Ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum. Highlighting to the Team Leader any arising issues that may have influence on production quality, including copy quality and procedural developments To ensure the Reprographics area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure that Health and Safety policy is adhered to at all times
- Escalate and manage IT issues should they occur

Key Requirements
- Reprographics experience preferred
- Willing to learn or have previous experience within reprographics customer facing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail skills is a must.
- Knowledgeable about routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment preferable.
- Client focused approach to provide our high standard of service required.
- Ability to work alone or collaboratively daily as part of a wider team.
- Able to keep calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with confidence to deal with clients at all levels
- Able to make logical decisions, considering all relevant information and alternative solutions
- Must take ownership for tasks and problems and personal development
- Must be able to show a professional and presentable image at all times
- To be Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a friendly and open manner
