**Role summary**:
To provide accurate financial and management information on a periodic and ad-hoc basis, delivering insights and recommendations to senior managers, aiding decision making, drive innovative margin and process improvements within Finance and the wider organisation.

**Job Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Reconciliation of business bank accounts on a daily basis
- Check and verify cash transactions; and also investigate and propose possible resolution for any discrepancies.
- Monitor all payments from the bank accounts.
- Responsible for interest and debt analysis, with provision of relevant information and report
- Report daily balances to Group.
- Posting of bank payments and credit card payments
- Ensure cash held in accounts is sufficient to cover outgoings.
- Ensure conformity of company’ bank account with IFR Standards. Reconciling of bank statements against the GL, and clearing accounts assigned
- Ensure tax regulations are in compliance with established standards.
- Ensure the robust and efficient tax planning and filing with the relevant bodies.
- Intercompany and Intergroup reconciliations
- Input into the weekly cashflow forecasting process.
- Meeting of deadlines for reporting both internally and externally
- Assist in the production of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process.
- Assist in the production of key data for the Group finance team.
- Document processes with a view to reviewing and improving where required
- Work closely with relevant teams to support the financial control and administration of processes.
- Responsible for following up on financial proceedings, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
- Support shared service accounts team with accounts payable queries and sales ledger / credit control queries. Provide support to the Financial Controller and Finance Director with adhoc projects and analysis.
- Production of monthly balance sheet review file, liaising with the wider finance team to ensure all reconciliations are done in a timely manner with commentary and back up provided where necessary.
- Produce National Statistics reports and file on time.
- Payroll reporting including producing of HMRC returns.
- Assisting in the production of statutory financial statements up to and including year-end statutory accounts.

To perform the job role successfully, the role holder must perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. These requirements are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform in the role.

**Requirements**:

- Holds or studying towards a relevant financial accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Excellent IT skills and specifically strong using Microsoft Excel
- Experience of working in financial accounting
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management.
- Holder of a Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience of a multi-company environment would be desirable.
- Transport experience would be desirable but not essential.
