**About you as Groups and Events Executive**
- Previous hotel reservations or sales experience ideally in 5 star properties
- Experience with Opera and/or Sales Force would be desirable
- Naturally take a proactive approach to hitting deadlines and prioritise workload
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Charismatic sales ability to convert queries at high speed while building rapport
- Enjoy working at a quick pace and thrive off a challenge

**Key responsibilities of the Groups and Events Executive**
- Under guidance of Central Events Manager and General Manager, be responsible for all group reservations and events enquiries
- Liaise with clients on a reactive and proactive basis in order to increase business levels in both groups and meeting and events
- Be responsible for sending proposals, contracts and producing functions sheets via Sales Force
- Support the Central Events team and in-house Revenue/Sales team by working together to maximise revenue opportunities at hotel level
- Be fully aware of the monthly budgets and expected revenues to confidently negotiate on rates, inclusions etc. in order to convert bookings
- To meet and greet planners on the day of event/arrival to ensure a positive experience in order to generate return business

Iconic Luxury Hotels launched The Mayfair Townhouse in December 2020.
Situated near London's Green Park, The Mayfair Townhouse is Iconic Luxury Hotels' fifth luxury hotel.

Located on Half Moon Street alongside Piccadilly, The Mayfair Townhouse will debut with 172 rooms suites. The Dandy Bar, private gym and versatile event spaces. Mayfair is synonymous with status, heritage and prestige and up until the mid 18th century was largely rural, famous for its annual May Fair. The townhouses lining Half Moon Street formed the setting for Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.
