Wedding and Events Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Wedding & Events Co-Ordinator at East Horton.
We are currently booming with in excess of 70 weddings per year as well as many events, parties and conferences.
We also have 3 fantastic golf courses giving us a steady stream of members and golfers.
The work will be varied and shall cover weddings, parties, conferences as well as caring for golfers in our reception area.
The position includes weekend work. Previous wedding and events experience is preferred, however relevant qualifications in the field will be considered for a first time role.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conducting excellent guest show rounds, building rapport and sharing a vision for events.
- Ensuring good reactive and proactive sales approach to enquiries, ensuring sales opportunities are maximised.
- Excellent management of all pre and post event communications.
- Complete any additional sales & event orientated tasks (within reason) as requested by the Manager.
- Ensure all details for bookings are kept efficiently, information is handed over to the relevant departments and detailed function sheets are completed to support on the day operations.
- To ensure smooth running of events on the day in house, leading a team to deliver exceptional service.
- Events Co-ordination experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail is key, as well as strong sales, organisation and communication skills.
- Self motivation, engaging personality and professionalism are important traits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Delivery of consistently high levels service and calmness under pressure.
Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
