Your Housing Group now has an exciting opportunity to offer a Governance Administrator Apprenticeship, based at our modern Head Office and collaboration space in Birchwood, Warrington, and our existing Governance team can’t wait to be given an opportunity to support you.

The Governance Administrator Apprentice will be a valued, key member of our friendly and professional Governance Team that deliver a tailored service to the Group and its board members, by providing an efficient and effective governance administration service to the Governance Team.

One of the great things about this apprenticeship opportunity is the variety No two days will be the same due to the wide-ranging services provided by the Governance team, and training will be provided in the following areas:
- Diary support and administration of calendars for Board and Committee meetings
- Arranging meetings and taking minutes as required
- Supporting with Governance and compliance projects and processes, such as electronic filing of returns and administration duties including filing, scanning, photocopying of documentation and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Providing Board and Committee meeting support, including meeting room bookings, catering arrangements, reminding the team of deadlines, assisting in preparation of reports and collation of relevant documentation.
- Booking conferences and training for the team and Board members, including transport and hotel bookings

**As you continue towards your qualification and gain further experience you will also:

- **
- Support financial processes within the team including, raising purchase orders, goods received notes, expenses and milage.
- Support the Governance Team to process documents for signing and sealing, ensuring contracts include correct company information and execution clauses.
- Develop and maintain information systems relevant to the responsibilities of the team, including electronically held databases and ensuring that all filing systems enable the smooth storage and retrieval of information.

This role requires a willingness to learn and a desire to play your part in assisting the Governance team to deliver the highest quality service and limit risk to the business.

**Ideally you will**

Have excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel, able to create basic Excel spreadsheets including simple formulas.

Possess clear and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal and the confidence and ability to liaise with staff at all levels.

**Please note to be able to study for this qualification, you will need to have achieved GCSE Maths and English at a minimum of level 4 and an additional relevant qualification (A level, NVQ or equivalent, or above)**
