Academic Administrator/ Project Officer

**Overall purpose of the post**:
- The role holder will provide administrative support to the Deputy Heads of St Peter’s 13-18 (Senior Deputy, Academic Deputy, Pastoral Deputy, Co-curricular Deputy and the Director of Academic Administration).
- The role requires a skilled and experienced administrator, with the capacity to plan a varying workload involving a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide project administrative support.
- To provide general support for the work of the academic team commensurate with the grade of the post.
**Key responsibilities**
**Academic/Curriculum Administration**
- Project Administration support
- To provide diary management support for the Deputy Heads 13-18
- To offer support for Internal and External Examinations
- To assist in the production of course information, materials curriculum handbooks and academic transcripts
- To undertake reprographics work including photocopying for the academic team
- To organise and support parents’ evenings, trips, events and briefing sessions
- To minute staff meetings, HODs meetings and other curriculum-related meetings
- To provide assistance with the running of the reporting schedule in ISAMS
- To update the academic calendar and SOCs calendar
- To work with the Administration Manager and Data Manager to develop GDPR compliance records management and storage solution for all academic records
- To provide administration support for pupil reports.
- To update the staff handbook
- To assist the Head of Learning Support with data collection and transition information from feeder schools
- To advise and recommend improvements to processes and practices
- To be available, as required, to support the work of the School Main Office and this may include occasional Saturday cover during term and covering the office at other times as required by the Administration Manager.
