Townends is a long-established Accountancy Practice with offices in York and Goole, that specialises in providing everything that the owner managed business needs. We have a full range of Accountancy services aimed at such businesses, including Wealth Management.
We have a new vacancy for an Office Administration Assistant based at our York office.
**Your typical duties will include**:
- Various administrative tasks
- New client set up
- Document management
- Simple processing for payroll and accounts department
- Assisting the firms marketing team
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Receptionist duties in the afternoons and some mornings to cover for absences and holidays
**What we need from you**:
- General administrative background
- Good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail
- Previous telephone experience
- Smart appearance
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Must be flexible
- Team player
