Senior User Researcher

We are seeking a Senior User (UX) Researcher to join our vibrant product team. We need your help to establish and build a strong user research practice alongside product and engineering teams.

What You’ll Do:

- Proactively identify User Research opportunities and create research plans using a range of research methods to achieve business objectives.
- Lead research projects - including defining objectives and methodology, managing and leading fieldwork, and synthesising outputs into compelling insights, artefacts (e.g., archetypes, user needs, customer journey maps, behavioural models, video edits, etc) and stories.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Help your team and wider stakeholders understand and empathise with users and bring research learnings into the product roadmap and design process.
- Present user insights to project stakeholders at all levels.
- Work closely with Product Managers on Product Discovery (e.g., industry trends, market research, analytics).
- Determine measurable and actionable user experience metrics.
- Champion the voice of the user and a user-centric design approach.
- Demonstrate and advocate the value of research.
- Contribute and define best practice for User Research.
- Coach teams on good User Research practice.

What You’ll Bring:

- Proven experience of presenting user research findings in a wide variety of formats and contexts.
- Proven experience of user research practices in an organisation.
- Extensive experience of planning, facilitating and analysing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Experience uncovering unarticulated user needs, synthesising existing research from multiple sources, and translating into digestible, actionable insights which are connected to business goals.
- Ability to distil complex information and concepts into compelling stories
- Confidence to challenge established perspectives and approaches, backed up by sound rationale, good practice and insights.
- Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and organisational skills.
