**About The Role**

We are seeking a motivated individual with a real interest in supporting children and families in the Borough to achieve positive outcomes in their lives.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Resource Team in the Children’s Specialist Service as the Contact and Carebank Support Coordinator. Primarily you will be coordinating contact supervision between contact supervisors and children and families.

You will have an understanding of facilities management in support of the Centre Manager and the opportunity to support the recruitment and development of a bank of sessional workers, develop your skills in organisation and communication, as well as contributing to positive outcomes for children.

**About The Team You’ll Be Working In**
- The Resource Team provides a specialist support service to a number of teams across the Children’s Specialist Service supporting the work of social work teams, health and social care professionals and multi-agency colleagues to improve the lives of children and families in Hounslow.
- Reporting to the Centre Coordinator, you will be contributing to the development of an effective in-house children’s contact service.
- You will be responsible for efficient coordination of referrals meeting individual needs and promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and their families who use the service.
- Helping to recruit and maintain a bank of sessional workers, developing induction and training to provide effective contact supervision.
- Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and processed in a timely manner in accordance with data protection.
- Support the work of the Centre Coordinator to develop systems to improve delivery and evidence robust financial practice.
- To open and close the building and work flexibly including weekends as part of weekend rota cover. This has been compensated by an increased increment of two spinal points.

Due to the requirements of this role, this is not a remote working opportunity.
- Practical, organised and efficient.
- A customer focussed approach with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Confident using different IT systems with an aptitude to learn new.
- Flexible cooperative approach.
- An understanding of Children’s Social Care and good outcomes for children.
