Finance Assistant

Hampton Manor is a family-run estate with 24 bedrooms and suites, two award winning restaurants, a bakery and events space.
This role supports our Financial Controller in the daily bookkeeping and financial administration at Hampton Manor.
Primary responsibility for purchase ledger, with assistance to the Financial Controller with other daily tasks where capacity allows.

- Processing of 300+ purchase invoices weekly
- Reconciliation of supplier statements monthly
- Preparation of creditors report monthly
- Assistance with other daily task such as, but not limited to: monthly bank rec, processing of sales journals, working with the sales team to monitor outstanding sales invoices, reconciling daily departmental banking.

- Previous experience working in high-volume data entry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with Sage 50 is preferred, but not essential.
Between 24-32 hours per week, dependant on your needs, circumstances and ability. Working days and times can be flexible.
Salary to start from £11.50 per hour, depending on experience.
