**Role: Finance Executive**

The Lounge team is growing We are looking for an experienced Finance Executive to assist the wider finance team in overseeing, analysing and developing the company's performance and growth.

With the nature of the role and our brand, we are looking for an individual that is either part or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who is driven by numbers, with a strong analytical and strategic way of thinking. You will be assisting the finance team in ensuring the management and control of all financial tasks are carried out accurately, and that accounts and financial information are kept up to date for compliance with both statutory and business requirements. Alongside this, you must keep up to date with the ever-changing landscape, needing to be continuously learning and evolving.

**What you will do at Lounge**:
Financial reporting:

- Support the Head of Finance in delivering the monthly management accounts.
- Assist in the production of year end accounts and the wider audit process.
- Assist in the budgeting and cash flow forecasting process.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform analysis of balances in accounts to find inconsistencies.
- Preparing accruals and prepayments and the posting of relevant journals.
- Support in delivering ad-hoc reports that support the management of the business.
- Assist with the production and filing of VAT returns.

General accounting:

- Analysis of GL-accounts for discrepancies and making relevant correction journals.
- Reviewing and processing payments to suppliers.
- Liaise with all departments to solve problems and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Supporting the wider Lounge team with finance-related queries.

**We would love it if you**:

- Are ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified or approaching qualification with one of these professional bodies.
- Are able to manage large amounts of data comfortably.
- Have experience working within a finance function. Retail/E-Commerce experience is preferred but not essential.
- Are passionate about Lounge and are looking to join a team full of passionate and driven individuals.
- Are a team player with strong communicative skills.
- Have degree level education in a relevant field.
- Have strong Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience and knowledge of the NetSuite accounting software is preferred.
