Based in a state-of-the-art premises, within Lytham St Annes, our aim is to provide easily accessible, quality healthcare, whilst bringing back the values of traditional doctor-patient relationships.

Offering a wide variety of services, including up to 30 minute consultation time with the doctor, appointments within 24 hours, comprehensive health screens, blood tests, ECGs, minor surgical procedures and vaccinations; our doctors, nurses and reception team work closely together to offer a professional and caring service.

**About The Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Receptionist/Patient Coordinator who has experience of working with the public and has excellent customer service skills. You will be highly organised, trustworthy, discrete, and reliable as you will be dealing with confidential patient information.

You will report to the Practice Manager and will be working with our GPs to ensure the safe, effective, and caring delivery of our services to our patients. You will be an ambassador of our practice and welcome patients with first class customer service that is professional, confident, efficient, courteous, and prompt.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meeting and greeting patients upon arrival.
- Answering the phone and helping with enquiries, taking messages and liaising with the practice team
- Booking appointments - Assist patients to book the appropriate clinician(s) for treatment.
- Treat patients and staff with empathy and respect
- Entering patient information accurately into our systems
- Creating invoices and taking customer payments
- Chaperone patients if required
- Carry out all relevant administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Compliance to our systems, procedures and health care laws and regulations

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbal and written
- An understanding of data protection and confidentiality issues including GDPR
- Previous experience of healthcare highly desirable, but not essential
- Previous administrative experience
- Good IT skills - familiar with patient booking and operating systems is desirable
- Sound knowledge of our services

Able to demonstrate ability in your previous roles.

Able to communicate your thoughts and ideas clearly and work collaboratively.

A naturally motivated individual driven by a genuine desire for achievement.

Able to offer some flexibility around working hours to suit the demand of our growing practice.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
