We are seeking for a **Resource Assistant** to join our dynamic Network Rail (NWR) team in Ashford (Kent) to assist with day-to-day planning and allocation of resources to meet contract demands, provide support with any short notice changes by the client and any short notice requests for resources.

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-time
**Location**:Ashford, Monday-Friday (_Office-based/On-site_)
**Main Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to)**
- Assisting with the rostering of all staff and input all resources to the RMP Portal.
- Liaise with Ashford Depot to coordinate resources for upcoming works.
- Ensure internal jobs are resourced within the stipulated timeframes.
- Manage Holiday requests for all Ashford based staff.
- Texting of all requirements to all staff.
- Monitoring Essendex and raising anything that needs escalating to the Resource Planner/Manager.
- Always maintain good relations with clients and their representatives.
- Attend Resource Review Meetings on a regular basis.
- Managing the delivery of correct equipment for duties.
- Assist with vehicle allocation, carryout administrative and document control duties as required.
- Within the support team, maintain current skills/training records and ensure all key skills are kept current.
- Any other duties as requested by line manager.
**Essential Skills and Requirements**:
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) Certificate.
- Experience in Resource planning or similar role.
- Good organisational skills.
- Understanding basic business contract requirements.
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a professional image at all times when representing the company.
- Strong team player with regards to sharing information, helping to resolve a problem, working towards common goals.
- Good interpersonal communication (verbal, written and listening) skills.
