**What you'll be doing?**:
Supporting the business and our divisional offices, our Head Office functions cover all departments from our Executive Board through to our support functions such as Group Design and Technical, HR, Health and Safety, IT, Sales and Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Group Finance, Corporate Affairs, as well as Legal and Company Secretariat. We also have a specialised function - Barratt Partnerships.

While the work varies from team to team, our key requirements don’t: you must be well organised, extremely helpful and resourceful, and able to use your initiative. You’ll understand that what you do is important, and impacts on your team, the department, and the wider business.

Reporting to the Head of P2P, the P2P Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for the delivery of consistent, streamlined, global Procure to Pay process through the leverage of industry best practice and technology. The role will manage the delivery of transformation and transition projects for the workstream, with an ongoing focus on continuous improvement, including invoice processing, operational procurement, vendor onboarding, payments, query resolution, controls, and reporting.

You will be expected to:

- Enable the expansion of scope of scale of SSC through managing the transition of incoming activity
- Support the delivery of to-be process and system design
- Support future state transition / rollout planning and management
- Create and effectively communicate work stream plans, including milestones and deliverables at each programme stage
- Proactively identify and manage work stream risks and issues
- Support change management, communication and engagement activities
- Enable increases of SSC effectiveness and efficiency through continuous improvement
- Identify areas where the efficiency and/or effectiveness of processes can be improved
- Identify the benefits and any costs of potential improvements
- Engage with external parties required to deliver agreed changes
- Project manage changes to ensure successful implementation
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues
- Support change management, communication and engagement activities
- Measure benefits post go live

**What you'll need?**:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

- 8+ years of experience in Procure to Pay transformation, transition and continuous improvement in a large plc/global business
- Functional experience in systems re-engineering, finance shared services or BPO
- Extensive experience of ERP accounts payable, OCR, service desk ticketing tools and other P2P solutions
- Strong Finance process, controls and systems knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication techniques across a variety of audiences
- Experience of working with remote teams across multiple locations.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform complex analysis and reconciliations.
