**Graphic Packaging International - Bardon - Continuous Improvement Graduate**
Graphic Packaging International is a Global FMCG manufacturer with 12 Converting sites across Europe, serving three business areas: Beverage, Convenience and Consumer Products and is the Carton Industry Leaders in Packaging Design and Innovation.
**Job Type / Category**
Develop and implement Continuous Improvement tools & techniques within the business processes to give real bottom line results with a focus on sustainability.
- Develop & implement corrective action plans short & long term to improve Quality, Cycle,Time, OTD, OI and to reduce scrap & inventory
- Sustainability Projects, eg, reduction in Waste
- Drive productivity improvement & standardisation across the business
- Develop & manage performance metrics.
- Define & review improvement initiatives with process Owners
- Conduct VSM & kaizen events and facilitate team working
- Provide training and educate the workforce instilling a Lean/Sigma culture in the organisation
- Follow up & ensure implementation of action plans within agreed delivery date
- Define strategy and priorities with the UK leadership team
- **Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
- Business/engineering degree or equivalent
- Expertise in Lean/Continuous Improvement
- Six-Sigma green belt/black belt desirable
- Ability to communicate all levels of the organization (Internal / External)
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, ability to sell ideas
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and analyse statistics & financial data
- Visionary - ability to see the bigger picture
