Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing (Process) Engineer looking to further expand their career in a unique fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will have a sound working knowledge of Micro Machining, Part Metrology and Mechanical Assembling techniques, all of which will be essential to further develop and streamline processes and manufacturing techniques.

The position will also involve PE responsibilities across multiple projects and will require good initiative and time management, along with working to tight deadlines.

Your role as Manufacturing Engineer will be:

- Designing of Jigs & Fixtures for both Assembly & Manufacturing Depts.
- Develop and Facilitate the Introduction of New Processes, Capital Equipment and Products into our Manufacturing Environments.
- Produce Business Case and ROI documents along with Technical Reports.
- Mapping of in-house Processes (Value Stream Mapping) to streamline established processes.
- Application of Root Cause Analysis (DMAIC Tools) to define & resolve manufacturing issues.
- Generating Work Instructions.
- Supporting NPI Processes.
- Liaising with Suppliers & Sub-Contractors.

Skills and experience required:

- Ideally qualified to HNC/HND level in an Engineering discipline with at least
- 3 years post qualifying experience within a Manufacturing / Production
- Engineering Environment.
- A Good Understanding of Engineering Manufacturing Drawings.
- Good Knowledge of Machining & Assembly Methods - Tools & Techniques
- Experience of using CAD (SOLIDWORKS).
- Good understanding of Jig and Fixture Design.
- Structured and Robust approach to Problem Solving.
- Good Time and Project Management Skills.
- Good Organisational and IT skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to Work Under Pressure.
