Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes and systems in Stoke-On-Trent.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and improving manufacturing processes and systems to increase product quality and productivity
  • Analyzing manufacturing process flows to identify areas for enhancement and cost reduction
  • Collaborating with design engineering to optimize product tooling and design
  • Estimating production costs and evaluating the impact of product design changes
  • Implementing process control systems to meet production requirements and standards
  • Planning and establishing the sequence of operations for product fabrication and assembly
  • Drafting and designing equipment, material, and workspace layouts
  • Coordinating with equipment vendors to ensure system performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
