Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to enhance product quality and productivity in our Stoke-On-Trent facility.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing processes and systems. Your key tasks will include:

  • Analysing manufacturing process flows to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput
  • Collaborating with design engineering on product tooling and design
  • Estimating production costs and the impact of product design changes
  • Implementing process control systems to meet production requirements and standards
  • Planning and establishing the sequence of operations for fabricating and assembling products
  • Drafting and designing the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace
  • Coordinating with equipment vendors to ensure satisfactory system performance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
