Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes and systems. Your key tasks will include:

  • Designing and implementing process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput
  • Collaborating with design engineering to ensure product tooling and design meet manufacturing requirements
  • Estimating production costs and analysing the impact of product design changes on manufacturing processes
  • Implementing process control systems to meet production standards and requirements
  • Planning and coordinating the fabrication and assembly of products
  • Drafting and designing layouts for equipment, materials, and workspace
  • Coordinating with equipment vendors to ensure satisfactory system performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
