An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the success of our client, a renowned Industrial/Manufacturing entity. Based in Stoke-On-Trent, this organisation is committed to innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing processes and systems to enhance product quality and productivity. Key tasks will include:

  • Analysing manufacturing process flows to identify opportunities for quality improvement, cost reduction, and throughput enhancement
  • Collaborating with design engineering to ensure product tooling and design meet manufacturing requirements
  • Estimating production costs and evaluating the impact of product design changes on management
  • Implementing process control systems to meet production standards and requirements
  • Planning and establishing the sequence of operations for product fabrication and assembly
  • Drafting and designing equipment, material, and workspace layouts
  • Coordinating with equipment vendors to ensure satisfactory system performance

Requirements

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience in manufacturing process improvement and industrial engineering is highly desirable.
