About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at AMETEK. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives across our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), routings, and visual factory displays.
  • Work with manufacturing cell leaders and lean coordinators to improve process efficiencies and implement lean manufacturing methods.
  • Implement and maintain process maps, PFMEA's, and control plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support the implementation of new products and processes, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, driving innovation and process excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing cell leaders, lean coordinators, and engineering teams.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing process engineering, lean manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, 7 Wastes, and visual management.
  • Experience with process mapping, PFMEA's, and control plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
