Receptionist and Careers Administrator

Based at the Careers Reception, you will be responsible for assisting with the organisation of a high quality, professional administrative service to the Careers team and act as first point of contact to our students and alumni. You will carry out basic but service critical administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running of the department both in the physical space as well as supporting colleagues working remotely.
**Receptionist and Careers Administrator Responsibilities**:
- Arrangement of small group exercises, determined by student timetable and consultant availability
- Signposting of students to appropriate resources
- Managing last minute cancellations and support for urgent appointments
- Ordering and organising gifts for speakers and alumni
- Diary management and making appointments for the Executive Director of Careers and other staff members as appropriate
- Supporting recruitment process, membership management and communications in line with the implementation of the new student community platform
**Receptionist and Careers Administrator Essentials**:
- Experience within administration or receptionist
- Experience providing front line support in a customer focused environment
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
