**We are seeking** a highly motivated and experienced International Purchasing Co-Ordinator to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in taking the lead on the entire procurement lifecycle for our internationally sourced products.

**What you'll do**:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify upcoming needs, analyse market trends, and forecast requirements for internationally sourced products.
- Proactively develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with international vendors, fostering clear communication and negotiating favourable contracts.
- Oversee the import process, working closely with our internal import division to ensure orders are delivered on time and in accordance with regulations.
- Meticulously process purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and completeness before creating and issuing Purchase Orders (POs) that clearly outline agreed-upon terms.
- Maintain meticulous records of all international purchasing activities, including POs, invoices, communication logs, and vital product data like pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and specifications.
- Navigate the complexities of international freight logistics, including shipping costs, commodity codes, insurance requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Proven experience in forecasting, placing orders, raising Purchase Orders (POs), and maintaining accurate records.
- A strong understanding of worldwide importing processes, including customs regulations, Incoterms, and trade agreements.
- A keen awareness and respect for international communication techniques, with the ability to adapt to different cultural norms.
- A sharp business acumen with a focus on cost optimisation and risk mitigation strategies.
- A solid understanding of freight logistics, including shipping methods, documentation, and associated costs.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
