Bid Writer

We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join NRG Riverside as a graduate bid writer, and be part of our ever-expanding fleet management business. NRG Riverside prides itself on promoting and developing their people, therefore the successful applicant will be receive a detailed development plan for become an experienced Bid Writer.

You’ll report to the Bids and Tender Manager and be a core member of our bid team.

You’ll play a key part in the writing of compelling bid submissions and creating visual content that wins us new business through proposals, and formal tender processes.

You’ll develop bid submissions that evidences our strengths in the most influential way possible to gain maximum quality scores.

You’ll build cross-functional relationships with our head office and field teams to gather the information required to ensure that compelling tenders are submitted against tight tender deadlines.

You’ll be responsible for managing the Tenders mailbox, for keeping the bid library up to date with the latest content and for improving our bid submissions along the way to be the absolute best, they can be.

**Requirements**:

- You’ll have excellent communication skills in both written and verbal communication.
- You’ll have exceptional time management and prioritisation skills and be able to manage multiple tasks.
- You’ll be self-motivated with meticulous attention to detail and excellent editing, formatting and proof-reading skills.
- You’ll be open to learning new skills, be flexible and an excellent team player.
- You’ll be able to engage confidently with internal stakeholders to obtain the relevant information to support our bids.
- You’ll be proficient in MS Office including, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- You’ll be able to travel nationally when required.
- You’ll enjoy working in a fun and flexible team.
- You’ll be responsible for the monitoring of tender notifications.
- You’ll be responsible for the review of tender documents and the scheduling of bid calls.
- You’ll be required to co-ordinate the whole bid process, including co-ordination of bid proposals and submissions to ensure that all relevant actions are completed to meet the tender deadline.
- You’ll draft, edit and review bid response documents including technical, financial and commercial components.
- You’ll draft and respond to post-tender clarification questions.
- You’ll be responsible for keeping the Tender Report and bid library up to date.

You’ll like to meet people and will be encouraged to get out and about to learn about our business particularly during your induction period, so occasional travel to our national workshops will be required.
