Office/accounts Administrator

We are a small, family run software company, based in the heart of York, specialising in software for the bakery industry, and looking to employ an Office Administrator.
Duties
To take ownership of the office administration of the business, you will be very organised, with strong communication skills, to act as a reference point for customers/suppliers/staff members. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Supporting the Accounts team with:
Xero bookkeeping tasks
- Customer Invoicing
- Supplier payments
- Sales/purchase ledgers and cashbook tasks, incl.
Bank reconciliations
Staff expenses
Credit control
Preparation of Management accounts
Liaising with external payroll providers
Liaising with external Accountants
Preparation of VAT returns
Researching requirements for new business territories
2. Supporting the Cybake team with:
Liaising with office landlord
Liaising with suppliers
Office purchases
Staff travel arrangements
HR admin incl. filing
Health & Safety arrangements
Keeping office systems updated
Hours/Location:
- Office-based.
- Hours of work: 20 to 27.5/week, core hours: Mon-Fri 9:15-14:45.
- Salary dependent on experience.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-27.5 per week
**Salary**: From £12.60 per hour
