**New England Seafood International - who are we?**
- We are a premium supplier of fresh fish, value added fish products and raw ready to eat fish to all the major UK retailers and to food service customers in the UK. We have nearly 500 employees based in our manufacturing site in Chessington, Surrey and 380 based in our manufacturing site in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. We are also joint partners with Comptoir Oceaniques, a French company, in Joii Sushi, providing sushi to all the major sushi chains in the UK. Joii Sushi has its base in Chessington and has manufacturing facilities in Boulogne, France._

**What is the purpose of this role?**

**Accountabilities**:

- Technical administrative support to ensure timely issuing of accurate KPI’s
- Assist in ensuring up to date and accurate records of complaints, ensuring that they are distributed and investigated
- Preparation of Technical Review data as required for technical meetings and site reviews
- Creation, amendments and control of process documentation, procedures via the compliance management system
- Manage sampling schedules ensuring their completion
- Review sampling results and trending, inform of any deviation to the specification
- Support the Technical Team with meetings, administration, hospitality arrangements
- Provide technical with support during site audits and visits
- Designated Taste Panel Co-ordinator - managing the taste panels, logging of results and feedback, sampling and carry out sensory analysis testing
- Ensuring vigilant compliance to the controlling, administration and management of CAD datebase.
- Required to assist technical leaders with a variety of tasks on a day by day basis

**Other**
- To be responsible for identifying own training and development needs in liaison with your Line Manager and Human Resources
- Be responsible for your own administration as part of your job role

**Experience, knowledge, and capabilities needed**:
**Required**:

- Knowledge of current Food Safety, Food Labelling, and other relevant legislation
- Work experience in a food manufacturing environment, Technical and Quality preferable
- Team working
- Excellent Influencing Skills
- Ability to deal with colleagues across all levels and functions of the business
- Can understand and interpret the technical agenda
- Ability to be flexible, multitask and work well under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Level of problem solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- IT Skills -excel, word and sharepoint
