- United Kingdom**EQUANS is looking for a Planning Assistant to join our team in Grimsby. This is a 6 month fixed term contract with a salary of £23,400.**
**EQUANS is North East Lincolnshire Council’s long-term Regeneration Partner delivering a number of services on their behalf, including the Planning Service. This role is to provide support to the Planning Service, to ensure that it delivers a first-class service to its customers and fully contributes to delivering sustainable development and growth in North East Lincolnshire.**
**The post holder will be required to have previous experience providing planning support and have good customer care skills.**

**What will you deliver?**
- Support the team in achieving contract performance targets.
- Provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of customers of the planning service.
- Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be expected at this level in supporting the delivery of the planning function.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Previous experience of working in an office environment, with frontline customer services experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of office systems, routines and processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of the required compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues and visitors.
- Ability to plan and organise work.
- Experience and ability to effectively use IT including databases and Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and TEAMs.
- Flexible to meet the needs of the service.
- Adaptable to change and new ways of working.
- Knowledge of working in a planning environment is desirable.
