We are currently working with a client based in Rochdale who specialize in manufacturing. They have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00 or 8:30-5:30 with a one hour lunch break.

**Key Duties**:
**Reporting to Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following duties**:
- Oversee Purchase Ledger operations including invoice processing, statement reconciliation, payment recommendations, and tax compliance for suppliers
- Create trade/aged creditors reporting packs, open PO reports and invoice query volumes with the Financial Controller
- Manage cash expenses, access expense for new hires, Barclaycard expenses and petty cash
- Handle incoming finance calls, monitor relevant finance inboxes, and perform filing tasks as needed
**Profile**:
- Must have strong IT skills
- Need to have 1 year experience in a Purchase Ledger role
- Strong communication skills
- Beneficial to have experience within a small to medium business
