Job Opportunity: Sales Ledger Administrator
Granada Material Handling is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Sales Ledger Administrator. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role involves a range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of our sales ledger processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Control:
Proactively chase outstanding payments.
Liaise with external legal support when necessary to recover debt.
Customer Account Management:
Issue monthly statements.
Respond to customer account queries promptly and professionally.
Financial Documentation Oversight:
Oversee the creation of new contracts, ensuring all required documentation is uploaded to the contract file.
Required documentation includes Sales Quote, Customer Purchase Order, and Pricing Document.
Issue Sales Order Acknowledgements.
Financial Transactions:
Daily receipt allocations.
Handle debit/credit adjustments.
Invoicing:
Aid in the timely creation of accurate sales invoices.
Support Management Accountant:
Assist in the Monthly Work In Progress cycle.
Monthly Reporting:
Responsible for reporting and closing the monthly ledger.
Collaboration and Communication:
Liaise with colleagues to provide assistance where applicable.
Accounts Housekeeping:
Maintain general accounts, ensuring details are up to date.
**Required Skills**:
Ideally AAT level 3 (or equivalent).
Strong Excel knowledge.
Sound understanding of credit control processes.
Mathematical proficiency.
Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Administrative and organizational skills.
Ability to detect inconsistencies.
Excellent communication skills.
Proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to manage and prioritize workflow effectively.
