**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:

- **Payroll Management**: Accurately process employee payroll on a regular basis, ensuring that all calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings are correct. Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- **Invoice Creation**: Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner, maintaining an organized record of all transactions. Verify that invoices are accurate and include all relevant details.
- **Payment Tracking**: Monitor and chase outstanding payments from clients, maintaining regular communication to ensure prompt payment. Record all payment transactions accurately.
- **Financial Record-Keeping**: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenses, and bank reconciliations. Keep track of company receipts and expenditures.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare financial reports and summaries for management, providing insights into the company's financial health. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Work with external accountants or auditors during tax season.

**Qualifications/ Requirements**:

- Experience within bookkeeping or similar roles (2 years)
- Experience within accounting (2 years)
- Experience in Sage50 Payroll & Sage50 Accounts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Schedule**:
Monday-Thursday (8am till 4:30pm)

Friday (7:30am till 2:30pm)

Pay: From £12.95 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
