Accounting and Bookkeeping Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team at Small Batch Coffee Roasters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all bookkeeping tasks for our roastery and cafe operations, including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger management, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Additionally, the role will involve supporting the Finance Manager with month-end tasks and management accounts, as well as providing general administrative support.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably with experience in retail and hospitality. AAT qualification or equivalent is essential, and experience with Xero is a significant advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a part-time role, with 25-30 hours per week, and will be based in our office in Portslade.
