A large and well established Not for Profit organisation based in central Cardiff.
**Your new role**
Working a HR administrator / PA to Head of Department, you will be provide a comprehensive professional administrative support to the department, providing support and guidance on all aspects of HR administration, and a high level, professional and confidentialsecretarial and administrative support to the Head of Department.
Key Duties
- Provide detailed advice and guidance on human resources processes and procedures to internal and external customers, using judgement and creativity to suggest the most appropriate course of action where appropriate, contributing to the resolution of morecomplex issues.
- Collaborate with others in order to make recommendations for developments of established processes and procedures.
- Establish working relationships with key contacts to help improve service levels, developing appropriate communication links with the organisation and outside bodies as required.
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties to support the team and department
- Gather and analyse data to inform decisions, establishing basic trends and patterns in data and creating reports as appropriate.
- Instruct and guide other employees across the organisation within human resources administration.

judgement to protect time for work to progress, ensuring that appropriate details are recorded for appointments.
- Arrange, support and service internal and external meetings and Committees as necessary. Ensure correct papers are distributed in advance of meetings, including agendas, minutes and briefing papers, and monitor follow up actions.
- Draft correspondence, summary briefings and reports for the Head of Department, ensuring
accuracy and secure electronic storage system.
- Assist with projects and reviews by undertaking independent background.
research into topics and issues, gathering and analysing data to inform decisions, coordinating the work of others supporting projects and establishing basic trends and patterns in data and creating reports as appropriate.
- Meet and greet visitors and provide a professional service for the department.
- Provide high-level support to other members of the Senior Management team, as
required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll have a proven track record of working in an administrative or PA capacity, you will be proactive, organised and a team player. Experience of working in HR or Recruitment capacity previously is highly desirable.
**What you'll get in return**
This is a temporary role for 3 months, starting ASAP. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, start times can be 9am to 5pm, 8am to 4pm or 8.30 to 4pm. There is hybrid option available, you can work up to 2 days per week from home, there is alsothe option to work 1 day from home, or full-time in the office.
