This is an exciting time to be working in substance misuse. Brighton & Hove has been awarded additional funding to support the local delivery of the Government’s new drug strategy - From Harm to Hope: a ten-year drugs plan to cut crime and save lives. This funding will be used to develop a world class treatment and recovery service with improved quality, capacity, and outcomes. This post is a key role in supporting Brighton & Hove City Council commission and deliver these services for the City.
**About the role**:
The postholder will be primarily responsible for
- Providing project management and project support to ensure effective delivery of specified activities and outcomes.
- Performance monitoring of contracts.
- Working in partnership with stakeholders to improve outcomes for service users.
- Receiving, collating, and reporting data including national monitoring returns.
- Production of performance reports and analysis.
- Leading service user surveys and wider consultations on substance misuse topics.
- Management of specified contracts.
- Providing advice and support to provider organisations and other stakeholders
- Maintaining an overview of adherence to Brighton & Hove City Council policies, procedures, financial regulations, and contract standing orders.
- Supporting procurement and tendering.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
